Unloading work begins at 9:00am until noon.
Gift wrapping starts at noon and ends after we are
completed creating gift circles for each school

Bring as many friends as you wish to help
us wrap presents!

We will be wrapping approximately 10,000
gifts
-
After all presents have been wrapped they
are organized by gender/age groups
-
Help out with the creation of goody bags
(these will help create the perimeter for your school circle)
- goody bags are typically the size of
a paper grocery bag and are filled with donated items (e.g., candy,
fruit juices, pencils, pads, fruits, etc.)

Look for the Liaison
Booth/Table
- Circle
(designated area in the Convention Center for your school) which will be
assigned and pointed out to you by a Board Member
- Please make your own labels.

Assist in creating the perimeter for your
circle with the goody bags
-
Set up your circle of gifts for your
school at approx. 7:30 pm. You will affix labels to each packet of
presents and take them back to your
circle. Leave them in gender/age order. Do not mix until day of
program. If you have replacements and/or need to pull any presents
leaving them in this order makes them easier to find.

If you can only be there for a short
period, we need you to be there no later than 7:30 PM, we prefer you be there in the
evening to pick up your packet (parking pass for day of event) and create your circle.
This year it is imperative that liaisons commit to Friday evening and
Saturday. If you cannot attend both days, please find someone who can
attend for you and take care of your school.

Be at your school at 8:15 AM PLEASE DON'T
WAIT UNTIL YOU GET TO THE HALL TO CHECK IN THE KIDS. If you cannot
make it to the school, please call
Izzy Gomez @
832-689-4518 as soon as possible.

School bus drivers have been bringing more children and
schools have been bringing more than 4 chaperones. This causes a huge
problem with seating. Please restrict children and chaperones to the
pre-set numbers.

Arrive at the George R. Brown Convention Center no later than 9:30 am.

Check in kids with your list, make
applicable changes and have new gift labels made. Please bring extra labels.

After kids leave school ground, proceed
to the George R. Brown in your vehicle and make changes at your
circle, then make a mountain of toys in the middle. The children
will be excited.

CHILDREN NOT PRESENT: GIFT BUNDLES MUST
BE RETURNED TO TOY SURPLUS AREA. THEY ARE NOT TO BE GIVEN TO SCHOOL!

After you're done with your circle,
please feel free to join in the fun with everyone in the arena for the
program. After the program, you must be prepared and ready to escort
your group of children to your assigned circle.

Organize the children around the circle
and deliver presents.
-
Follow-up with Izzy for information on
problems encountered, positive comments and a
post-program gathering for liaisons and board members. Thank you for
all your efforts and hard work.

Please remember that NEEB might ask sponsors to join
your circle and pass out gifts.
