Aug. 5: Benavides Drive Inn hosts14th Annual Benefit Golf Tourney for NEEB at the Battleground Golf Course in Deer Park, Texas.

Aug. 19: 12th Annual Young at Heart Day for senior citizens is held at the East Harris County Activity Center in Pasadena.  Our invitees increase to 390 guests, each receiving a $10.00 gift check from Fiesta Mart, Inc., a fan to help with the hot weather, a NEEB blanket to keep them warm in winter, food, door prizes and all were treated to a dance. 
Aug. 31: Navidad joins forces with the Children’s Defense Fund and KB HOMES to provide backpacks and school supplies for 300 lucky HISD children.

Dec 8: Over 10,000 gifts are wrapped by volunteers at the Reliant Park Astrodome.  Dec 9: Navidad En El Barrio hosts its annual grand party for 2,520 children at the Reliant Center ASTRODOME. Over $36,000 is budgeted for toys. In addition to their three gifts and goodies, 252 children receive bikes as door prizes due to the generosity of a donation of 200 bikes donated by Beck and Masten Pontiac 1960.

Dec 9: Tenth Annual Fund-raising Dance is held at the Arabia Shrine Temple.
Dec 14: NEEB provides toys for Pancho Claus and his helpers for children in the hood.

Dec 16: Navidad En El Barrio is the beneficiary of toys donated at MUNIZ ENGINEERING CHRISTMAS PARTY.  A new angel for Navidad!

Dec 19: Navidad En El Barrio holds a Christmas Party for the children of the Buen Hogar Shelter. These children removed from their home by Child Protective Services are given a pizza party and a $100.00 gift card for each child.

Dec 22: Navidad En El Barrio and Sheriff Wright of Fort Bend County team up for a Christmas Party benefiting the children of inmates.

Dec 24: Santa and NEEB volunteers once again visit families bringing food and toys to approximately 175 families during Christmas Eve.

Sept. 15: 15th Annual Young at Heart Day for senior citizens is held at the Ripley House Community Center where Navidad En El Barrio was born.  Our 390 guests receive a $10.00 gift check from Fiesta Mart, Inc., a gift, food, door prizes and all were treated to a dance.

Dec 14: Over 12,000 gifts are wrapped by volunteers at the George Brown Convention Center.

Dec 15: Navidad En El Barrio hosts its annual grand party for 2,520 children at the George Brown Convention Center. Over $43,000 is budgeted for toys. In addition to their five gifts and goodies, 252 children receive bikes as door prizes due to the generosity of a donation of 200 bikes donated by Beck and Masten Pontiac 1960.

Dec 17: NAVIDAD EN EL BARRIO travels to Laredo Texas where Constable Rodolfo Rodriguez, Jr. , Constable Webb County Precinct 1, hosts a gift wrapping party for 2,000 gifts at Texas A&M Internacional University.

Dec 18: Constable Rodlfo Rodriguez, Jr. From Laredo Texas hosts a party at Texas A&M International University for 600 children from 15 area elementary schools.  The program is a great success and Constable vowed to expand to more schools and invite more children.
