Navidad En El Barrio now held in two cities in 1999

• May 15:  Benavides Drive Inn hosts 7th Annual Benefit Golf Tourney for NEEB.

• Oct 30:  6th Annual Young at Heart Day? for senior citizens.  200 guests were  invited,  each  receiving  a $10.00 gift check from Fiesta Mart,  Inc.,  a  fan  to  help  with the hot weather, food, door prizes and all were treated to a dance.

• Nov 20:  3rd Annual Fund-raising Dance is held at the Arabia Shrine Temple.

• Dec 5:  Navidad En El Barrio hosts its 13th annual grand party for 2,200 children  at  the  Astroarena Pavillion. Over $29,000 is budgeted and  100  children  receive bikes as door prizes, in addition to their three gifts and goodies.

• Dec 9:  Dovalina, Eureste, Villarreal & Landa, L.L.P. once again host Xmas Party benefiting Navidad En El Barrio with GREAT RESULTS.

• Dec 11:  NEEB visits Laredo, Texas for the second year with Sheriff Juan Garza  hosting  the party for 750 children, increasing the total by  200 children in only their second year.  Thirty schools were invited.

• Dec  24:  Santa  and  NEEB  volunteers  visit  families bringing joy to approximately 100 families during Christmas Eve.

• Dec 9:  Navidad En El Barrio hosts its 14th annual grand party for 2,000 children  at  the  Astroarena Pavillion. Over $29,000 is budgeted and  100  children  receive bikes as door prizes, in addition to their three gifts and goodies.

• Dec 14:  Dovalina, Eureste, Villarreal & Landa, L.L.P. once again host Christmas Party benefiting Navidad En El Barrio with GREAT RESULTS.

• Dec 11:  NEEB visits Laredo, Texas for the third year with Sheriff Juan Garza  hosting  the party for 750 children.  Thirty schools were invited.

• Dec 23: Santa and NEEB volunteers create a Snow Day for all children and families  at  Charlton  Park  located  at 8700 Park Place.   Forty Thousand  pounds  of  snow  is donated by Ice Express and Chef's Produce making this event FREE to everyone.

• Dec 24:  Santa  and NEEB volunteers once again visit families bringing food  including  turkeys  and toys to approximately 100 families during Christmas Eve.

Navidad En El Barrio expands to San Antonio in 2001!
