Sheriff Ed Gonzalez Christmas in July Party for Male Residents
Navidad En El Barrio’s Christmas in July Party for Male Residents is a special family-centered program presented in collaboration with Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
This meaningful event gives participating fathers who are residents of the Harris County Jail an opportunity to reconnect with their children and loved ones in a warm and welcoming setting.
Families are able to share a meal, talk, laugh, exchange hugs, participate in activities, and spend valuable time together. Fathers also have the special opportunity to personally present gifts to their children and share in their excitement.
❤️ About the Program
The Christmas in July Party creates a space where fathers are able to reconnect with the people who matter most to them.
Participating loved ones may include children, spouses, and other close family members. During the celebration, families can interact in person, share food, enjoy activities, and create meaningful memories together.
For the children, the day offers an opportunity to spend time with their fathers, receive gifts directly from them, and experience a joyful family moment.
For the fathers, the event provides an opportunity to be present, offer encouragement, and remind their children and loved ones that their family connection remains important.
This program would not be possible without the collaboration, leadership, and support of Sheriff Ed Gonzalez and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
