The Taquitos & Chanclitas Gala is one of Navidad En El Barrio’s signature annual fundraisers - an evening that brings people together to celebrate community, honor those who make a difference, and help support the programs we carry forward throughout the year.
At its heart, the gala is about remembering that meaningful things often begin simply.
Taquitos reflect the humble meals that bring people together around a table.
Chanclitas remind us of modest beginnings and the simple things many families rely on while working toward something more.
Together, they represent gratitude, perseverance, community, and the importance of paying it forward.
