Free Eye Exams & Glasses for Students

Something new is on the way!

Navidad En El Barrio is teaming up with the University of Houston College of Optometry to bring vision support exclusively to our Christmas Program partner schools.

Details are forthcoming, but here’s what you can expect, designed to ensure that low-income children with limited access to vision health resources receive the support they need (based on availability of funds):

• Free eye exams for eligible students

• Free eyeglasses for those identified with vision needs

• A straightforward process for School Coordinators to connect students to services
