👵 Young-at-Heart (Seniors Program)

Honoring and celebrating seniors through connection and joy. Because every stage of life deserves celebration and belonging.

This program creates a space where seniors are not just participants, but honored guests. Each event is designed to bring laughter, friendship, music, games, and meaningful moments that remind every attendee that they are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.

Through the support of volunteers, donors, sponsors and community partners, we are able to create a day filled with warmth, energy, and celebration, where generations come together to uplift one another and strengthen the fabric of our community.

📸 2026 Event Highlights (A Day to Remember)

Our 2026 Young-at-Heart celebration was an incredible success!! From start to finish, the room was filled with music, laughter, and connection. Many guests truly did not want the day to end.

This year we welcomed:

  • 👵🏽 300 Seniors in Attendance

  • 🙌 75 Volunteers

    • Volunteers: ~57total

    • Chase - Houston: ~10 volunteers

    • APIW: - Houston: ~8 volunteers

Seniors:

  • 💃 Danced throughout the event

  • 🍽️ Shared meals and enjoyed food together

  • 🎲 Played games and won prizes

  • 🤝 Socialized and built new friendships

  • 💛 Smiled, laughed, and created lasting memories
