About the Little Wishes Program

🎁 Small Wishes. Big Joy.

Little Wishes is a special part of Navidad En El Barrio’s Annual Christmas Program.

Children participating through approximately 50 schools are invited by their school coordinators to write an “If I Had 3 Wishes” essay. A small number of essays are then selected from each participating school for the Little Wishes program.

Those selected wishes are added to the Little Wishes list and shared with generous individuals, families, businesses, organizations, and community partners who would like to help make them come true.

It is a simple idea with a meaningful purpose: bringing our community together to make Christmas a little brighter for a child.

❤️ How Little Wishes Works

  1. 🏫 Children participate through schools in our Annual Christmas Program

  2. ✏️ School coordinators invite participants to submit an “If I Had 3 Wishes” essay

  3. 📖 Selected essays from each school become part of the Little Wishes program

  4. 🎁 The Little Wishes list is shared with the community

  5. 🤝 Supporters choose wishes they would like to fulfill

  6. ❤️ Gifts are collected and prepared for the children

  7. 🎄 Gifts are presented at our Annual Christmas Program; larger wishes are coordinated separately for delivery.

Every fulfilled wish represents someone in our community saying, “You matter, and someone was thinking of you this Christmas.”

⏳ Little Wishes Are Coming Soon

Our Little Wishes list is prepared each fall and is expected to open around mid-October.

Once available, this page will include the current wishes along with instructions for selecting and fulfilling a wish.
