Submit one completed Little Wishes Essay Cover Sheet per participating student by Friday, October 16, 2026.
⚠️ Essays received after October 16 will not be reviewed for the Little Wishes Program.

Option 2 — Email PDF

Scan completed essays into PDF format and email them to:

Required Cover Sheet: Every essay must use the Navidad En El Barrio Essay Cover Sheet. Essays submitted on other paper will not be reviewed.
Classroom Project: Please make this a classroom activity so we receive the child’s own thoughts and wishes.
English or Spanish: Essays may be written in either language.
Legibility: Please make sure each essay is easy to read.
Encourage Details: Ask students to share as much detail as possible to help us better understand their wishes.

Submitting essays on time gives us the opportunity to read each child’s story and select Little Wishes to share with our community and sponsors in hopes of making additional wishes come true.

Selected Little Wishes will be shared with our community on October 22, 2026, giving sponsors and supporters an opportunity to help make additional wishes come true.
🏆 Essay Recognition: First-, second-, and third-place winners may be selected within age groups 6–8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, based on the number of entries received. Winners will be recognized at the Christmas Program and receive additional gifts.
