Can you believe another school year is already upon us? Navidad En El Barrio has been actively raising funds for our 2026 Christmas Program, and we are grateful to be celebrating our 39th year with the grace of God and the support of all those angels who continue to believe in our program.

CONFIRM YOUR PARTICIPATION. If your school plans to participate in the 2026 Christmas Program, please review the School Participation Guidelines & Requirements and submit your confirmation using the link under #5. 📅 Deadline: Friday, August 28, 2026 | ⏰ 3:00 PM. Please respond whether your school plans to participate or not.
ESSAYS. Last year, several schools did not submit essays or submitted them after the deadline. These essays are important because they give participating children the opportunity to receive additional gifts through our Little Wishes program. Schools that do not submit the required essays on time may not be invited to participate the following year.
PARTICIPANT NUMBERS. Last year, two schools brought only 19 of their expected 40 children, and several schools brought fewer than 30. Because we want to give as many children as possible the opportunity to participate, schools that bring fewer than 30 children may not be invited to participate the following year.
8 SCHOOLS ON STANDBY. This year, we have 8 additional schools waiting for an opportunity to participate. After the confirmation deadline, we will begin inviting schools from the standby list as space becomes available.
SCHOOL COORDINATOR CHANGES. We understand that things change from year to year. If you are no longer your school’s Coordinator for 2026, please use the email link below to let us know and, if possible, share your replacement’s name and contact information, along with any helpful notes. This helps us stay connected with the right person and keep your school informed throughout the program season.
